A place to study
and return.

This library collects study guides prepared by Cedric Atkinson to make substantial ideas available for repeated use. Each guide pairs explanation with cases, questions, and reflection. The aim is to understand an argument well enough to reconstruct it, use it, and recognize where it may fail.

Keep the source in view.

These are independent educational study guides. Original authors receive attribution, and the guides identify the books, chapters, editions, and other sources behind their teaching. They distinguish quotations and reported evidence from constructed exercises and the guide’s own interpretations.

Coverage differs between guides. The Sowell course draws on the listed books and transcript collection, with limits for editions, captions, and independently reproducing reported findings. The Accelerated Expertise guide includes its source-coverage qualification. Read those notes before treating a summary as complete coverage or an example as a causal finding.

The original books and private research files are not hosted here. The published downloads contain the study material. A course’s completion marks and self-assessment scores help organize practice; they do not establish a certified level of expertise.

Your notes belong to your browser.

You can read the guides on any device. Written answers, notes, and progress are stored locally in the browser where you work. They are not sent to the library, and there is no account or automatic synchronization between devices.

Use each guide’s export function to keep a copy. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser, or changing the site address gives you a different local workspace. Notes written in an earlier local edition remain at that original address; publishing the guide does not move them.

The library adds no advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information to deliver and secure the website.
